Thinking of My Childhood Gears
I was very scared of the wooden puppets, beautifully crafted characters.
I was even more scared of all the Grimm’s fairy tales.
The wooden blocks, beautiful beach wood, carefully designed and crafted by my father, different sizes, all very precise and helpful to learn multiplication factors from in early childhood. They just visualized that rom within themselves to me, in very systematic manner, very precise, and, as it seemed to me, naturally structured and orderly by nature. They did have too sharp edges for me though.
And relating the mathematical and spacious appearance of the blocks to basic Lego, the scale was a little different and more importantly, in addition to the pure beach wood blocks, Lego had colour.
Vision of colour and space is the only thing I remember.
